The Telegraph Business Club is a key information source of
business information, case studies, profiles and success stories,
read in the UK and throughout the world. This seven-minute film on
Common Purpose features the charity's Chair of Trustees, Sir David
Bell, trustee Chris Mathias and Common Purpose Chief Executive,
Julia Middleton. It also features footage from the organisation's
cross-sector based courses.
The film's focus is the international expansion of Common
Purpose's franchise model to over 50 locations around the world
without diluting the core essence of its brand.
"We are telling our story at a time when we are celebrating our
21st year and reminding people that you really cannot get a
learning experience like we offer anywhere else in the world," says
Julia Middleton, Chief Executive. "Our aim is - and has always been
- to provide our participants and our alumni with an experience
that is extraordinary and shapes how they approach leadership
challenges and opportunities.
"There are so many leadership challenges around the world right
now, and leaders cannot confront these issues and make a positive
change without reaching outside the arena in which they are
comfortable.
"This is what we help them do - we take them to places they would
never otherwise visit, we facilitate a network that allows people
to speak to and learn from those they would never otherwise meet,"
says Julia Middleton. "At a time when working across sectors and
borders has never been more imperative to shaping the societies we
live in, I am proud of what our participants and alumni take away
from our courses - and I know it gives them value."
The film will feature on the Telegraph
Business Club website for six months.
